We are dual trained so you don't have to go from one therapist to the next. We offer mental health and physical health assessments for both children and adults.

Assessments typically take 60–90 minutes, sometimes up to 2 hours (report writing completed separately).
Children's Home Safety Assessment/Housing Needs Report - £450 -
-Observation of home environment
-Discussion with parent regarding daily routines and hazards
-Identification of potential safety risks and adaptation needs
-Summary report with practical advice to improve safety, access, and independence
-Assessment can be used to support with housing applications
Children's Sensory Assessment (Non-Standardised) - £350 -
-Observation in home or school setting
-Discussion with parent and/or school to explore concerns
-Informal sensory and movement activities
-Sensory Profile Assessment
-Summary report with practical recommendations for home and school
Children's Dyspraxia/ Motor Skills Assessment - £490 -
-Observation of child during structured and functional tasks

Adults Occupational Therapy Light Touch Assessment - £150 -
-Observation of 1–2 key areas of function at home

Adults Occupational Therapy General Assessment - £350 -
-Observation of daily tasks and functional abilities at home
-Discussion with client regarding needs and goals
-Recommendations for minor adaptations, equipment, and safe movement
-Detailed report with practical strategies to support independence and participation
Adults Occupational Therapy Specialist Assessment - £400-£600 -
-Observation of complex physical or functional needs
-Discussion with client about goals and priorities
-Recommendations for major adaptations, specialist equipment, or tailored interventions
-Comprehensive report with detailed strategies for safe movement, independence, and participation
Therapy / Treatment Sessions -
-Practical, one-to-one sessions at home, school, community, or clinic
-Personalised strategies to support daily routines, self-care, mobility, learning, play, or social participation

Psychotherapy

Our psychotherapy practitioner provides deeper emotional and psychological support, helping clients explore thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and address underlying issues. We believe in holistic care because people are holistic, and we’re thrilled to include psychotherapy as part of our integrated services.
Session Fee - £85 per hour -
Home visits and in clinic sessions available.

Consultancy Services
We recently completed consultancy work in partnership with our client Bosun Care Ltd, supporting the development and pilot of an innovative multidisciplinary team (MDT) framework in care homes.
Our work aims to enhance care delivery and improve outcomes for residents.
Pricing varies depending on the project, but we strive to maintain rates that are fair and accessible.

Meet Melanie
I’m Melanie Akas, an Occupational Therapist and founder of Eiko Therapy. Over the past 10 years, I have supported children and adults to overcome developmental, mental health, and physical challenges.
My Approach
I am passionate about empowering clients to gain independence, manage daily tasks, and improve overall wellbeing through personalised therapy.
Supporting Students & Professionals
Beyond occupational therapy, I support students and professionals facing mental health challenges, including ADHD, depression, and OCD, helping them develop strategies to navigate educational and career obstacles.
I have delivered this support at Surrey University, the University of Portsmouth, Trinity Laban Conservatoire, and the University of Stirling, among others.
My Goal
My mission is to help individuals overcome barriers to life and engage in what is meaningful to them.
